Our Year 9 students have been creating salmon paintings for a large-scale installation with artist Ian Daniell. The project has been a rewarding experience, combining creativity with insight into a professional artist’s practice.

As part of Science Week, Cape Naturaliste College hosted the Bayliss Youth Lecture with guest speaker Ms Helen Coleman—an artist and PhD candidate at Curtin University. With a background in Botany and Chemistry, she shared her expertise in natural dyes, including her research into the dye potential of the iconic Southwestern Marri (Red Gum).
