Attendance

For a student to be truly engaged in their learning they must participate socially, academically and intellectually in their schooling. Further to this is the need to attend school on a regular basis. As a college, we encourage all students to maintain regular attendance of 90% or above. Attending school regularly helps students to further develop their confidence, social skills, resilience and teamwork.

If your child is unable to attend school please contact Student Services via the following options;

Please include your child’s name, the date/s, and the reason for their absence.

Students arriving late for school are required to sign in at Student Services with a note from a parent/guardian or accompanied by a parent/guardian. Alternatively, parents can inform Student Services the reason for a student’s late arrival via the options above.

If your child needs to leave during the school day, please ensure you send them with a note to show their teacher to be released from class if the appointment is during class time. Students need to come to Student Services to sign out.  They will be given a Leave Slip which they need to keep on their person while out of the school.
